Operations Director – Poland

As part of our continued international expansion, we are seeking an Operations Director to lead and accelerate the development of Hardis Group Polska.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the operational strategy of our Polish subsidiary. You will lead business operations, develop high-performing teams, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure sustainable growth and profitability. You will supervise project deliveries in functional, technical and human terms, respecting lead times and cost requirements, and controls the customer relationship in connection with the Sales teams.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the operational roadmap of Hardis Group Polska
  • Oversee operational activities, quality, efficiency, and scalability
  • Lead, develop, and inspire multidisciplinary teams
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Support business growth and expansion initiatives
  • Manage operational risks and ensure business continuity

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

Client Business Development : 

  • Develop customer relationships and business at existing customers
  • Contribute to the packaging of high value-added offerings and support pre-sales activities
  • Support sales team to promote delivery model and organization

Delivery Management : 

  • Organize the daily operations
  • Ensure the proper delivery of projects (in terms of quality, budget…)
  • Anticipate risks, deviations, set up and manage action plans
  • Ensure regular monitoring of projects (charges, costs, quality, deadline, customer service levels) 
  • Manage the staffing of projects, manage internal and external suppliers
  • Manage the preparation of steering committees with customers and lead them
  • Ensure, if necessary, the direct management of projects or take over when the situation requires it Deliver projects in line with commitments regarding scope, cost, quality, timeline and service levels
  • Coordinate build and run activities
  • Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated and applied

People Management : 

  • Manage recruitment processes, interviews and integration path
  • Manage appraisal interviews, salary increases, and bonus based on HR Group policy
  • Manage people through strong leadership and commitment, maintain team cohesion and a high level of motivation
  • Communicate and apply company strategy and HR Group policy while adapting the processes to the subsidiary organization
  • Promote and monitor skills development, develop and support the action plans necessary to develop employee skills and improve team performance

Financial part : 

  • Determine the budget for the subsidiary with the top management
  • Ensure the development of the profit of the subsidiary in line with the business plan agreed with HG
  • Oversee business operations, financial performance and investments
  • Control expenses and optimize costs, arbitrate priorities based on expected ROI and business development potential
  • Manage financial result, profitability of the projects with Project Managers
  • Report financial result, P&L, profitatbility of the subsidiary
  • Manage invoicing
  • Develop plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Information Security : 

  • Understand information security challenges and threats
  • Apply security policies and rules
  • Report and escalate security incidents
  • Follow the rules and procedures defined by the Information Security Policy (ISP) to ensure information security and data protection, particularly within the framework of ISO 27001 certification

Profile required

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive management role
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational performance and organizational growth
  • Experience managing international teams and complex customer environments
  • P&L Management
  • Languages: Polish (C2), English (C1), French will be a value
