Education
Despite growing numbers, estimates suggest that there is a shortage of almost 50,000 developers in France. At Hardis Group, we believe that, as a technology company, we have a key role to play in preparing people for the careers of tomorrow through information, support, and training.
Our commitment
We believe that we have a duty to help prepare people—both within and outside our organization—for careers in tech through training and development opportunities. Our efforts in this vein focus on both hard and soft skills.
Actions
Stronger education partnerships:
- Establishing an ambitious partnership with coding school 42 Lyon Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, which takes a fresh approach to education by embracing diversity and rejecting established models.
- Partnering with 10 schools and supporting ongoing improvements to curricula and courses both locally and nationally (see the list of partner schools).
- Increasing our visibility in the job market, hosting interns, and hiring work-study students and young graduates.
In-house training through the Hardis Group Academy:
- Upskilling our people and attracting new talent through the Hardis Group Academy (established in 2020 and rolled out in 2021).
- Helping our managers and employees gain new hard and soft skills.
- Creating a Cegos e-learning platform for all our employees (in France and worldwide).
- Raising employee awareness about information security, and providing training to selected teams.
- Providing training to business-area directors via GERME, a training network for managers, in order to foster a shared managerial culture grounded in our human values, and in the principles of supportive, collaborative, and responsible management.
