Under the authority of the Head of Sales, and as part of the company’s commercial strategy, the Business Developer contributes to the growth strategy of the Group’s activities in Spain and Portugal, with some possible extensions to pan European-deals, in the segment of mid-caps, large and very large accounts.

Your role is to develop and monitor, over time, a portfolio of prospects, as well as an ecosystem of partners.
Main
missions

Business Developer is in charge of deals to sell Reflex Suite (WMS, OMS, Control Tower).
Able to communicate with the top management of medium-sized and large groups, you will be responsible for piloting  mid to large accounts complex sales, as our solutions are critical ones to our clients, involving many actors such as from Supply Chain, IT, production, client service, eCommerce, and top management. To achieve this, we will provide a high-level pre-sales team.

In addition, you will work with our network of partners, which includes IT leaders such as CapGemini to Google, from TCS (Tata Consulting Services) to Zebra. This role requires strategic sales skills, i.e. the ability to discern different customer strategies when several countries and divisions are involved, present and future needs in terms of supply chain execution and omnichannel commerce, and IT strategies such as move to cloud, and to respond with a complete offering suite including several solutions, but also a project dimension. In this context, you must be able to manage a pre-sales team of business and technical experts, as well as partners who may be involved in certain projects.

As a well experienced salesperson (with over 5 years’ experience), having worked in the sales of business software solutions, or in logistics and information systems consulting.

This job combines supply chain and IT issues and will enable you to work with the Iberian peninsula biggest groups, in order to provide them with solutions of strategic importance to their competitiveness. Clearly a sales position, this comprehensive job also includes :

    consulting dimension, as you’ll need to understand your customers’ business and supply chain strategies within complex ecosystems
  • The ability to sell both a business software solution and its integration project
  • The ability to manage robotic-engineering partners, publishers of solutions that complement our own, and integrators deploying the solution shall we not do so directly.
  • The ability to speak out to position our offer and our company in the context of today’s business world, through events such as podcasts, webinars or
    exclusive C-level events,

Profile required

Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT and/or logistics environment

Key Business Skills

  •  Knowing how to create, manage and maintain the (external) customer and supplier relationship
  • Understand the environment and customer challenges
  • Demonstrate supply leadership, (solution, market)
  • Ability to negotiate (arguments, presentations, reassurance)
  • Knowing how to structure and write professional writings (spéc.tech., functional spec., procedures, proposals, report, minutes, etc.)
